How we process your personal data
1. Data Controller

2. What Data We Collect
When you place a rental order: name, email, phone number, delivery address and the contents of your message. Payments are processed by Stripe — card numbers never reach us and we do not store them. When you use the contact form: name, email and your message. With your cookie consent, we also collect anonymised analytics about site usage.
3. Legal Basis
Order data is processed to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Accounting records are kept under a legal obligation (point c). Analytics cookies are processed only with your consent (point a), which you can withdraw at any time. Service operation and security rely on legitimate interest (point f).
4. Purpose of Processing
We use your data exclusively to fulfil and deliver your order, communicate with you, process payments and deposit refunds, respond to contact form messages, and improve our service.
5. Data Recipients
Data is shared only with processors essential to running the service: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, EU servers — Frankfurt), Twilio SendGrid (email delivery) and, with your consent, the analytics tools Google Analytics, Meta and Microsoft Clarity. We never sell your data to third parties.
6. Retention Periods
Order data is kept for 10 years (statutory requirement for accounting records). Contact form messages are kept for at most 1 year. Your cookie consent choice is stored for 180 days.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to info@screen4rent.sk. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (dataprotection.gov.sk).
8. Security
All communication with the site is encrypted (TLS). Data is accessible only to authorised persons and the processors listed in section 5. The database is protected against unauthorised access.
9. Cookies and Analytics
Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity) load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Without consent, no tracking cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
